Brass Natraj Statue 4.7 Inch
Description
Brass Natraj Statue – 4.7 Inch Handcrafted Brass Idol
This magnificently handcrafted Brass Natraj Statue depicts Lord Shiva in his most iconic and celebrated form — Nataraja, the Cosmic Dancer performing the divine Ananda Tandava (dance of bliss). In this timeless composition, Lord Shiva dances with four arms: his upper right hand holds the Damaru (drum) symbolising the sound of creation, his upper left hand holds Agni (fire) representing destruction and transformation, his lower right hand displays the Abhaya mudra (protection and grace), and his lower left hand points elegantly downward in the Gajahasta mudra toward his raised left foot — symbolising liberation (Moksha) for the devotee. His right foot firmly tramples the demon Apasmara (Muyalaka), representing the conquest of ignorance. He is adorned with an elaborate Jata Mukuta (matted hair crown) with a crescent moon, traditional jewellery, and flowing attire, all framed within a magnificent circular Prabhamandala (ring of flames) with flame tips radiating outward, mounted on a round lotus petal base. The Nataraja form is one of the most profound and philosophically rich representations in Hindu iconography, symbolising the five cosmic acts of Shiva: creation, preservation, destruction, concealment, and liberation. Crafted from premium quality brass with a rich antique golden finish, this idol weighs approximately 220 grams with dimensions of 4.7 inch (H) × 4 inch (L) × 1.7 inch (B).
